Minimum Eligibility for Admission

Must have passed 12th standard (10+2) or equivalent (PUC, or recognised board) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one additional optional subject (e.g. Chemistry, Biology/Biotech, Electronics, Computer Science etc.).
Minimum aggregate marks requirement is typically 45% in relevant subjects (PCM + optional) for general category.
For SC/ST/OBC (reserved) categories, there is usually relaxation — many sources refer to 40% aggregate minimum.
Additionally, you must qualify through entrance exams accepted by VTU (or the affiliated college) such as KCET, COMEDK UGET, or JEE Main
