A Journey of Growth and Learning: Mr. Padaval Vinayak Prakash’s Experience at Harsha College of Pharmacy

Hello, my name is Padaval Vinayak Prakash, and I’m currently a third-year student at Harsha College of Pharmacy. Reflecting on my time here, I can confidently say that it has been a highly rewarding experience, filled with continuous learning, personal growth, and plenty of exciting opportunities. When I first arrived at Harsha, I was unfamiliar with the pharmacy and research fields. However, over the past four years, this institution has sparked a deep interest and enthusiasm in me, significantly shaping my academic and personal growth.

A key milestone in my journey was the research project I had the privilege of working on under the mentorship of Ms. Nisha Pyngrope, Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacognosy. This project focused on investigating the anti-bacterial activity of Allamanda schotti against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. The experience was eye-opening and rewarding, and I was honored to receive the RGUHS research grant for my work. This project not only deepened my understanding of pharmacognosy but also gave me the confidence to continue pursuing research in the future.

My time at Harsha College has been incredibly fulfilling. The faculty is consistently supportive, the quality of education is exceptional, and the lively campus atmosphere makes the learning experience even more enjoyable. Choosing Harsha College was undoubtedly the best decision I could have made, and I am truly grateful for the opportunities it has offered me. I look forward to the rest of my journey here, eager to continue learning and growing in this wonderful academic environment.
