The Bachelor of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) is a 4-year undergraduate program designed to equip students with in-depth knowledge of computing principles, engineering practices, and modern technologies. CSE professionals play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining software systems and digital infrastructure across various domains such as IT industries, research organizations, startups, corporate enterprises, and technology-driven sectors.
The program builds a strong foundation in programming, data structures, algorithms, computer networks, database management systems, operating systems, and software engineering. Students develop essential skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, leadership, teamwork, and ethical computing practices, enabling them to function effectively as part of multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, the program emphasizes innovation, research, and real-world application, empowering students to contribute to digital transformation, cybersecurity awareness, and responsible use of technology for societal and industrial advancement.
Minimum Eligibility for Admission
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 / Pre-University / equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Physics and Mathematics must be compulsory subjects in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates must have studied one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology.
- Applicants must have obtained the minimum aggregate percentage as prescribed by the University / Government / Regulatory Authority from time to time.
- Admission shall be based on merit in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examinations, as per university or government norms.
- Reservation and relaxation in eligibility criteria shall be applicable as per Government of India / State Government rules.
- Minimum age for admission will be 17 years. (as on 31st December of that year)
Computer Science & Engineering
The Bachelor of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) program is designed to equip students with the knowledge, technical skills, and professional values required to design, develop, and manage computing systems across diverse technological domains. The program spans a duration of four years and integrates theoretical instruction, laboratory-based learning, project work, and industry-oriented practical exposure.
Students gain hands-on experience through programming labs, software development projects, internships, and real-world problem-solving, preparing them to adapt to evolving technologies and contribute effectively in professional, research, and innovation-driven environments.
GENERAL NURSING AND MIDWIFERY (GNM)
The Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) program emphasizes core concepts that train students in computing fundamentals, software development, and problem-solving methodologies. CSE professionals play a crucial role in assisting organizations and engineering teams across various technical environments such as software development centers, IT departments, research labs, data centers, and technology-driven enterprises.
In addition, they contribute to digital awareness, cybersecurity practices, and responsible use of technology, helping organizations and communities understand safe computing, data protection, and efficient digital solutions. The responsibilities of a computer science engineer are diverse and specialized, ranging from software and application development to system design, data analytics, and network management.
