Minimum Eligibility for Admission
- Candidates must have completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized university or institution with a minimum aggregate score, generally ranging from 55% to 60%, depending on the institution and specialization.
- Every student selected for admission to a postgraduate Pharmacy program in a PCI-approved institution must have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council, or must obtain the same within one month from the date of admission. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of admission.
Program Outline
The Master of Pharmacy program is a two-year postgraduate course spread over four semesters, designed to provide advanced knowledge and specialization in pharmaceutical sciences. The program integrates rigorous academic coursework with practical training and research, focusing on areas such as advanced clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical research and drug development, regulatory affairs, quality control and quality assurance, pharmacovigilance, and clinical trials management. It also prepares graduates for academic and research roles, equipping them with the expertise required for careers in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare institutions, research organizations, and regulatory bodies.
