Who is eligible to apply for the P.B.B.Sc Nursing course?

Candidates must have passed GNM and be registered as R.N.R.M. (Registered Nurse Registered Midwife) with the State Nurses Registration Council. A 10+2 qualification or equivalent is also required.

Yes, candidates should typically have minimum work experience in nursing practice after completing GNM, although requirements may vary slightly depending on the institution.

Male nurses trained before the integrated midwifery course must show evidence of training in areas such as O.T. Techniques, TB Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, etc., as per Indian Nursing Council norms.

The maximum age limit is 35 years, although there’s no upper age limit for ANM/LHV candidates.

The course includes Nursing Foundations, Psychology, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternal and Child Health, Community Health Nursing, Sociology, and Nursing Research, along with clinical and lab-based training.
