The B.Sc. Nursing degree is a 4-year course which has a curriculum mixed with theoretical knowledge and clinical experiences, providing a strong foundation for students starting their journey in the field of Nursing. Apart from hands-on training, the course covers various subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Nursing Foundations, Applied Nutrition, Biochemistry, Medical-Surgical Nursing and many more.
B.Sc. Nursing sets a strong base to students aspiring to later opt for a postgraduate degree and doctoral studies in nursing. It is centered around bringing in a positive change by serving the society.
Minimum Eligibility for Admission
- The minimum age for admission shall be students must have completed 17 years of age.
- Minimum education: 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized boards under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
- Students must be medically fit.
- Students appearing in 10+2 examinations in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
- Students shall be admitted once in a year.
Program Outline
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is designed to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and professional values required to deliver compassionate care in any healthcare setting. The program spans for a duration of four years and combines classroom learning, laboratory training, and clinical experience.
